Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in Australia and accounts for 80% of all cancers diagnosed each year. Queensland has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world.
Skin diseases, including skin cancer, affect a substantial number of Australians, representing a major cost to the Australian health budget and to the health and wellbeing of the population.
