Our research

The ASSC brings together over 40 research teams housed within The University of Queensland and QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute currently working across skin and skin cancer research.

The research falls into four broad categories of skin, naevus, melanoma and keratinocyte cancer research (squamous cell carcinomas and basal cell carcinomas).

Using this collaborative expertise the ASSC drives research into skin and skin cancer in Australia, and globally, by combining strong basic and clinical research.

Our researchers are nationally and internationally recognised for their contributions to skin and skin cancer research.
